Excellent couple of days here. Extended family booking for attending memorial service in nearby Mirfield. Breakfast was full, the bar stayed open, the staff were pleasant and polite. They have a table football in reception area. They coped well when we were approached by a young man with his own issues, and were quick to deal with this further when it escalated. I would recommend it to anyone asking for hotels in that area.
Solid stay. Good rooms, very accommodating and nice staff, and great breakfast. The gluten free area was a really nice touch as someone not used to being able to have the option at hotel breakfasts. Really appreciate that detail.
Hotel was good for an overnight stay after Leeds Festival. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Only thing I would mention is to take your own hairdryer, the one provided was by no means powerful Staff were great, allowed us to check in pretty late (about midnight) and check out is 12 noon which is fab
Had a nice stay at this hotel ,the room was nice and the breakfast probably the best I've had at ihg hotel for many years Natalie was so professional and helpful at check in nothing was a problem to her such a credit to the hotel The manager on duty at the time Ash served with a smile on her face as did colleague April Will definitely stay here again
Great staff, comfortable bed, good shower and really nice breakfast. Everything you could need really. Deducted one star from service as there was no hot food on room service at night.
Couple of things about the shower but fixable room was good , beds were comfy , food was excellent , staff were excellent. Stayed on a buisness trip and have been before a few years ago .
We had the pleasure of holding a 90th birthday party at the hotel and were extremely impressed by the standards of service and attention we received throughout our event and our stay. All staff dealing with our event were very attentive and proficient and demonstrated a clear understanding of what we required and set the party up accordingly. It was enormously refreshing and impressive how they worked together as a strong team to deliver the best experience we could expect for this big family occasion. A massive thank you to the team, you deserve it!
A very nice welcome from the reception staff. From the outside it looks very 1960s and in need of maintenance but inside it is bright, modern and well appointed. The hotel is pet friendly. Our bedroom was comfortable and warm with a great bed and pillows. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet, help yourself. The food was very good and the staff were most helpful. I will use this hotel again.
